This course will equips North Carolina real estate brokers with the knowledge and tools to competently assist clients in land-related transactions. Topics include the complete land development process, market trends, feasibility analysis, zoning, environmental factors, and professional ethics — with special emphasis on NC license law NCREC compliance, and Realtor® Code of Ethics. 

Whether you're new to land or experienced, this course clarifies your role in this specialized area.

Upon Completion, you will be able to: 

  1. Define land development and trace its historical evolution
  2. Evaluate market foundations and shifts
  3. Identify broker responsibilities 
  4. Explain land conversion and the six stages of development 
  5. Assess legal, regulatory, environmental, and infrastructure considerations
  6. Interpret site plans and feasibility studies to effectively advise clients

Cancellations
Full registration fees will be refunded for cancellations made more than three business days prior to a class or program date. Cancellations made three or less business days prior to a class or program will be refunded, less a $10 cancellation fee. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made after 12:00pm the day before a class or program. CRCBR reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class or program as needed. Registrants will be notified and will have the option to transfer or receive a full refund.
