CE Day Elective: Ethics & Equity in Commercial Real Estate (CE Approved) - October 2026
Tuesday, October 27, 2026 (1:30 PM - 6:00 PM) (EDT)
Description
This is a 4.5 hour class that satisfies the NC Elective requirement, NAR REALTORS Code of Ethics requirement and NAR REALTORS Fair Housing/Anti-Bias Requirement for cycle 8 ending 12/31/2027.
This course examines how the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics and Fair Housing laws apply to everyday commercial real estate practice. Participants review the structure and purpose of the Code of Ethics, including the Preamble, Articles, and Standards of Practice, and explore how ethical obligations intersect with federal, state, and local fair housing requirements.
Through commercial real estate scenarios involving leasing, marketing, site selection, tenant screening, property management, negotiations, and dispute resolution, learners identify potential ethical and fair housing risks and develop practical decision-making skills that support compliant and professional business conduct.
This course will be taught by Cheryl Crawford and will start promptly at 1:30pm.
